Hard & Soft Tissue Ridge Augmentation Made Easy
Tutors: Dr. Peter Sanders (UK) & Dr. David Madruga (UK/Spain)
This course has a strong practical bias with a sound grounding in theory and surgical principles. Participants will learn and practice simple, predictable solutions to hard and soft tissue deficiencies and is designed for Dental Practitioners with little or no experience in these techniques.
This program will be held at the Zimmer Biomet Institute in Winterthur, Switzerland where the hands-on training will take place in our Simulated Patient Training Laboratory allowing clinicians to practice real-life case scenarios on simulation patients.
Course Fee: £835.00
This includes one dinner, break refreshments, all course materials, one scrub set and group transportation between the Park Hotel and the Zimmer Biomet Institute from June 20th – 21st, 2019.
Each learning station is equipped with a computer for accessing reference materials and has all simulated patient materials, including: radiographs, CT scans, and models that are specific for the exercises.
The mannequins feature soft tissue and “bone” that have cortical and cancellous layers, soft tissue-lined sinuses and “wired” inferior alveolar nerves. The mannequins are designed to provide participants with a sense of treating a live patient.
AS REAL AS IT GETS
The simulated surgical and restorative mannequins are the nearest thing to working on an actual human patient as it gets. The mannequins have teeth that can be extracted, tissues that can be sutured, periosteum, sinuses, cortical and cancellous bone, as well as mandibles with a blood supply and innervations.
